You Are The Client: We Make The Stickers
It's our first live stream! You are invited to join us tomorrow (Wed 16th April) at 7:30pm to cross to the other side and play the heinous client hectoring their long-suffering creative team.
This Wednesday (tomorrow, if you're getting this by email!) from 19:30 UTC+1, gfsc.community is embarking on its first community livestream and you are, if this was not already implicit, invited.
In “You Are The Client: We Make The Stickers” our resident artist Emma Charleston will be designing stickers to your exacting specifications. Your ideas will be solicited and respected. However due to time limitations, the extended Sticker Committee (Kim Foale and Sean Morley) will be judiciously rating, combining, interpreting and rejecting your incoming conveyor belt of ideas to meet deadlines and provide optimum client satisfaction.
Our aim is to combine live art and moment-to-moment design analysis with an extended roleplay over the neckbreaking albatross of client expectations. This is where you come in: we need people to play the role of client. Your job is to provide a string of incoherent, vague, arbitrary or mutually exclusive demands. You are a vast worm coughing its sickly desires onto a conveyor belt and we shall nurse you back to health with convivial panel discussion and world-beating sticker designs. That is a guarantee.
