🚀 Volunteering
We're always on the lookout for coders, designers, community organisers and other creative and technical roles to help out on our projects. All our projects are on our GitHub.
If you're able to help out, go have a read of our Volunteering Information and sign up using the form at the bottom of the page. You can also join the Discord and post in the #i-want-to-help
channel or drop Kim an email (kim@gfsc.studio).
✍️ Write for the blog
If you meet the following criteria:
- you have an established independant creative or technical practice that you have some evidence of publishing about elsewhere,
- you are comfortable sharing works in progress and want to collaborate with other authors,
- you understand this is a volunteer project for the forseeable and we cannot pay contributors,
- and you are excited by GFSC's mission and are already known to us or keen to get stuck in
We would love to welcome you to our blogging crew. Again, drop Kim a DM or email (kim@gfsc.studio). to have a chat about suitability.
🖇️ Project hosting
Do you maintain a project that you think would be a good fit for the GFSC Community? Are you part of a small organisation that would like to join forces with us, make use of our common set of tools and social platforms, and access our audience?
If so we'd love to support you. We can provide project mentoring, a place on our Discord for your project that'll get a lot of eyeballs and volunteers directed your way, and support from our community bloggers to publish what you're working on. We also run a working group where we meet semi regularly, work on group funding bids, and give peer support to each other.
Project hosting is available on all paid organisational support plans. Please get in touch with Kim (kim@gfsc.studio) to discuss how we might work together.
